All this means is we need to expand the definition of 'black'

Here's an old story from January I found on the STLToday website. You know how it seems every comment calls the Knockout Kings game black on white violence? Well Edduar Reyes has something to say about that.

Hispanic still counts as 'Not Black'

Of course there are no comments on this story. No loud racists making excuses. No one to shout about brown on white crime because race isn't mentioned when it comes to victims. Race isn't what is important. What is important is stupid teens were busted for doing stupid assault.

One of these days, people in my city are going to realize that teens do stupid shit. It isn't about race, it's about being young, bored and possibly raised in a bad neighborhood with shitty parents. Or maybe not, maybe there is something in the water making teens get all Hulkamania on passing citizens.

Just as an aside, beware of teens carrying steel chairs cutting promos into invisible microphones.

I just want to add a thank you to the STLPD for putting up with stupid people everywhere. Regardless of how you feel about cops, they put up with some shit for a career most of us couldn't do in a day. Either from criminals or moron civilians telling them how to do their jobs.

So there you go. Some good news, I suppose. Later this week, we will return to our irregularly scheduled racism.
