Turns out that anyone can join the stupid party!

One wouldn't imagine a simple story about the people of Wildwood being proactive about their lack of broadband internet options would bring a tasty tidbit if stupid, but I didn't think I could drink a full bottle of vodka when I was twenty. Sometimes you just have to prove something to yourself. And like staring at that full bottle of Demitrov so many years ago, I clicked the comments with a shrug. Really, what's the worst that could happen?

Lee Jackson's page has a lot of links and discussion about LGBT rights, and that profile photo leads me to believe he is gay himself. Let's see if I can do this in the least offensive way...

Lee, do you like it when people paint everyone in a particular group into one, broad stroke? Of course not. That is prejudice, and it is wrong. It's wrong to say every gay man is some flouncing femme looking for a dick to suck and a feather boa to wear because it doesn't describe every gay person correctly. There are manly gay guys and feminine lesbian ladies.

Therefore, you are a pox ridden dick-churn for attacking the people of Wildwood as a whole and accusing everyone in the area of being:

Right-winged
Bigoted
Religious extremists
Republican

Look at that second word there, Lee. Bigoted. That's exactly what you are doing. Being gay doesn't give you a license to be an asshole. It's a shitty thing to do on either end of the spectrum.

Maybe Lee had some bad experiences in Wildwood while doing his gay thing. I wouldn't be surprised. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if you ran into hostilities anywhere for being gay. Turns out, assholes are everywhere in this crazy country of ours. However, allowing yourself to spout off shit like this makes you one of the assholes you hate. I assume The Delta, wherever that is, is filled with hateful gay people.

Also, to say someone doesn't deserve the internet is like saying people don't deserve education. I'm sure Lee believes no one in Wildwood would ever want to look up astronomy or read things from the Library of Congress. They all just want to sit around and hate gays together at a big ol' gay hatin' party, and the internet is only going to be used to hate more gays. God forbid a kid is allowed a fast connection to discover TED talks or literally ANYTHING on Wikipedia.

Either way, it's hate speak, it's wrong and you suck as a human. You don't get a pass because you're gay. Not on this blog.

As for Steve Kreder, way to jump into some shit that didn't concern you. Had it just been Lee up there, I might not have been so inclined to write about this. But some people just gotta douche it up. Almost as if it hurts to not say something douchy.

But thanks again to Lee for the stupid, bigoted remarks. Obviously the only cool, hip people are we city dwellers and no one ever runs into any kind of prejudice or stereotyping ever. It's just filled with young people who love everyone. Except Lee though. Lee hates everyone in Wildwood. Way to fuck it up for the rest of us.
