This weekend I was sifting through about two hundred comments on minimum wage from people who don't understand economics, and decided to save my sanity for once. So here's some random weirdness I pulled off the KSDK wall.
Sunday was our (hopefully) last shitty winter day, bringing a mixture of snow and ice. I myself used Saturday to get all my errands done so I wouldn't have to go out into miserable weather and driving conditions.
Tim doesn't like those warnings. Get out and shop, and your safety be damned. He's a retailer and needs them dollars. Your car accidents are on you.
Guess who gets spit flavored coffee
Apparently it's now up to news corporations to deliver vaccinations to war torn nations? I'm sure Anderson Cooper can just fly into Pakistan with a bag full of polio juice and not be worried about customs, distribution or corrupt third world governments.
I find it surprising that most people don't understand if it was that easy, we would have fucking done it already.
Yeah, I'm sure it's a major inconvenience to have all those people pour money into your town. Here's a gif explaining what you and your neighbors need to do to the local economy if you want your voice heard.
Yeah, the full stupid name of that bridge is the Stan Musial Veteran's Memorial Bridge and we expect you to use it all the time!
I know people want to jump up and defend veterans because otherwise you're a damn dirty commie, but if there is a veteran out there actually angry the full name isn't being used, they're probably an asshole. Most of us have better things to do, like nurse our drinking habits or have night terrors. Simple stuff.
If you want to support a veteran, give money to a veteran's charity. Don't get all uppity about what people call a stupid bridge in the middle of the country.
Poor Cottleville residents. Real suffering going on there.
ReplyDeletewhere is Cottleville and why do they have so much St Pat's traffic?
ReplyDeleteCottleville/Dardenne Prairie are just east of Winghaven. And probably because most of the people who are there for St. Pats would have at least a 45-min commute to celebrate it in the city.
