I'm not one to lament the destruction of humanity because of internet access or smart phones, but there are parts of society which have gone out the window in the last decade of over sharing and narcissism. I know around my friends I can use the word "fuck" as a comma, but at work it moves to mere semicolon usage.
However, the internet strips away humans and replaces them with goofy pictures and twitter blurbs. This causes people to forget themselves and share things outside of the proper group.
This was posted to the wall of the KSDK facebook page. I understand some people raising children at home can go a little stir crazy, but a news organization's wall isn't a place to share your child's expulsions.
Though to be fair, it's also not a place to share your insane, racist views. But if that stopped, I'd have to change the blog to something else. Maybe another Channing Tatum fan page.
Oh good, a straight person doing the ironic "Coming out as straight" horseshit. Great for your country club, shitty everywhere else.
I hope for a day in which coming out of the closet isn't a big thing, but people like this who belittles the struggle closeted homosexuals face with the decision just baffle me.
You want to know why it's news worthy when a young actress or a football player comes out? Because Arizona wants to give you the right to refuse service based on sexuality. Because you can get life in prison in places like Uganda for even being a counselor for homosexuals, and because we just finished the 2014 Olympics in a country which has banned gay pride marches for a hundred years.
For just a moment, let it be about someone else and keep your shitty thoughts to yourself. The world doesn't revolve around you.
This guy though...
This guy gets it.
